Chicken Soup
 
 
Plenty of chicken and salt is the key to a flavorful chicken soup.  For some reason, it always tastes best on the second day, so you can definitely make this one in advance! 
 
Ingredients:
 
-4 chicken breasts
-1 small sweet potato
-1 small potato
-1 small onion
-1 small zucchini
-2 carrots
-1 parsnip
-3 stalks of celery
-2 cloves of garlic
-fresh dill
-1/8 cup salt
-pepper to taste
 
Directions:
 
-Placed cleaned chicken in pot with water.
 
-When it comes to a rolling boil, remove any fat at the surface.  This will ensure you clear, golden broth later.
 
-Wash all vegetables, and cut whatever is necessary to fit better in the pot.
 
-Add all remaining ingredients except the dill, and simmer for 45 minutes.
 
-Add dill and simmer for 15 more minutes.
