Terumah - The Spiritual Sanctuary

Not gonna lie... That's one of the most profound things I've heard in a minute...
If HaShem is everywhere, then He has "no privacy" (as it is).
It just makes me think that in every instance, HaShem is there, and He is revealing something of Himself to me at any given moment. And lately, it's been hard to see that.

Our soul deeply desires a home for privacy...that desire can be transformed for G-d to enter our soul, thus unifying our soul with His Spirit in Oneness. The reason for building a temple is to show us He made our souls to behold Him, a place for Him to dwell in fullness and express His love privately. This is completely logical and reasonable. Also, an idea can have gravity, and weigh on the soul. Also to say G-d is infinite equates a lack, logically infinity is not complete. It would be logical to say G-d circumvents time and space and ends in the beginning without taking time to do so, thus the end and beginning are not the end and beginning of time and space, aka the universe, but rather the end and beginning of G-d, as He "is" before the universe "was" made, in the state of His own creation. Thank you, I always wondered about this! I've heard from a friend who's a photographer and visited the Temple Mount last year. He said that the Arabs had taken everything out there under the ground, and had made it their home. This is very, very painful for me to know, and even more so now that I have understood this lecture. Another friend though says that I shouldn't worry as the Tample will be rebuilt which does indeed console me. Reply
